Writers Get Taste of Tri-cities Hospitality

GRAND HAVEN -- The Tri-Cities area put its best foot forward recently when travel writers from throughout the United States and Canada came to visit....

For travel writer Julie Catalano, of San Antonio, Texas, it was a chance to actually spend time visiting Michigan, a state that she had only spent one day in many years before.

"I was in Detroit years ago for the filming of a TV pilot that wasn't picked up," she said.

"That was the only time I have been in Michigan. West Michigan is a beautiful area. The tulips are beautiful, the people are friendly, and I can't think of a single thing that I wouldn't want to come back and rediscover." Read full story here
